Our Roots
It began back home in Romania for Mihaela Gutman. Growing up in a Communist-occupied country at the turn of the 21st Century sparked an early and insightful curiosity about beekeeping and honey.
The health benefits of raw honey and the ecological benefits bees provide inspired her as the family used the botanical serum for more than just nutritional purposes. Fast forward to 2021, and Mihaela has brought her processes and relationships together to create Sunny Honey Miami.
We are locally owned here in Sunny (and sometimes steamy) South Beach, Miami.
Our Family
Creamed honey, also known as spun or whipped honey, is a type of processed honey that has been creamed and whipped to create a thick, spreadable consistency. It is created by blending granulated honey crystals with liquid honey until it reaches the desired creamy texture and then slowly crystallizing it in large cooling tanks.
Our Bees
We use authentic “White Clover” honey from cute little Canadian Bees. Our Honey is taken directly from the honeycomb. It does not contain any additives or ingredients. The honey is extracted, as it exists, from our hives. It is always RAW, never heated, and spun for four days, or ninety-six hours, to create our one-of-a-kind creamy textures.
We are always working to provide you with the best-tasting creamed honey. Our Honey is never heated and thus won’t crystallize on your shelf. It will last as long as you do all while providing smooth and spreadable consistency for all your needs.
Our Sunny Honey is available in select stores but not to worry, all our flavors are available to ship direct straight from our website store.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple – creating gourmet experiences by nature for those we love. At the same time, we intend to leave our imprint and knowledge of the Honey Bee to our customers.
We are always researching and developing new flavors. Our current honey range includes our Original Creamed Honey, Lavender, Vanilla, Matcha, Cacao, Coconut, Key Lime, Pumpkin Spice, and our most recent Lavender & Hemp flavors. The highest quality, never artificial ingredients are infused and then bottled for consistency.
